Katsuyori Shibata ready to commit to AEW if that’s what Tony Khan wants

Shibata is ready to commit.

On the bill for AEW WrestleDream was Eddie Kingston putting the ROH World and NJPW STRONG Openweight Championships on the line against ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata.

Kingston defeated Shibata to retain the championships and post-match, they embraced one another and Kingston gave Shibata the ring as he received a standing ovation from the audience in attendance.

Alongside Orange Cassidy, Shibata joined AEW President Tony Khan on the podium for the media scrum. One of the questions presented to Shibata was about his contractual status. He stated that he’s willing to commit if that’s what Tony Khan wants. Khan said he wants Shibata around forever and does not want him to leave.
