The former GHC Heavyweight Champion has interest from AEW.

At the conclusion of October 2023, two-time GHC Heavyweight Champion Katsuhiko Nakajima is going to be wrapping up with Pro Wrestling NOAH. It was publicly announced that Nakajima is choosing not to renew his contract with the promotion.

As the post-AEW WrestleDream media scrum was ongoing, Tony Khan was asked about Nakajima and said he’s interested in having him in AEW. Khan said he’s heard there’s interest from Nakajima as well.

Nakajima’s final matches with NOAH are taking place on October 20th and 28th. On the 20th, he’ll tag with Go Shiozaki and Masa Kitamiya to take on Daiki Inaba, Manabu Soya and Masaaki Mochizuki. He’s closing his time in the promotion in a tag match as a part of AXIZ with Go Shiozaki.
