While doing media, Belair was asked about Cargill.

WWE’s newest signee, Jade Cargill, has been prominently promoted by the company since being brought into the fold. The longest-reigning AEW TBS Champion made her first on-screen appearance for WWE at Fastlane in a shot with Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. She was featured on NXT on 10/10 and was greeted by Shawn Michaels

As Cargill was making the media rounds following her signing, there were multiple occasions when she spoke about the idea of a matchup between herself and three-time WWE Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Cargill believes it’s a WrestleMania main event-level bout.

Raj Prashad of UPROXX caught up with Belair and got her thoughts about Jade. Belair said it’s always been a big goal of hers to bring herself, her culture and representation to WWE and that’s only going to grow with Jade now being in the company. She added that so many amazing possibilities can come from this.

It’s always been a huge goal and mission of mine to bring myself and my culture and representation to WWE. And it’s only going to get bigger with Jade coming in the picture. There’s so many amazing possibilities that can come out of it, singles matches, tag matches. Going from being one of the first Black females to main event WrestleMania and now having Jade come in, it’s just showing how much WWE is evolving and continues to evolve.

Following up on that, Belair expressed that it feels great to be one of the faces of WWE. She stated that everyone brings something to the table and adds to the women’s division. She wants that top spot and they’re all eager for it.

It’s great to be one of the faces (of WWE). It’s great to be one of the girls that gets to be in the top positions and be representation. For a while, I would just be so proud of myself with trying to do it the right way. And now I’m just to the point where there’s not a right way to do it. You just do it your way and everybody brings a dish to the table, then you can have a whole meal. And that’s what we all do.

We all collectively add to this division. And I’m just grateful that I’m one of the women that can bring my dish to the table. I want to be the main dish. We’re all fighting to be the entree, but that’s what makes the meal even better. You’re the girl that’s the top. You’re the girl that gets to show this women’s division. It means everything.

Belair has not wrestled since the August 18th episode of Friday Night SmackDown. In a separate media appearance, Belair said she hopes to be back on SmackDown soon.

She was present at the New York Stock Exchange as a representative of WWE when TKO Group Holdings was formally established.
