In a brief exchange on social media, Seth Rollins told Will Ospreay on Saturday, “The water is warm,” referring to WWE.

After Rollins retained his World Heavyweight Championship at Crown Jewel, WWE posted an “And still…” graphic on X. Ospreay responded with the “eyes” emoji.

In a reply, Rollins told Ospreay, “The water is warm.”

Will Ospreay has been public about his contract status with New Japan Pro Wrestling, noting that his current deal is up in February 2024

Back in April, he noted:

My contract with New Japan is up next February so from that point who’s not gonna want this kid who’s dedicated to being a hard worker and wanting to put on the best quality of matches.

More recently, the 30-year-old has parlayed his contract status into storylines, including the build to his match earlier on Saturday with Shota Umino.
