The ‘assassin’ that All Japan promoted is from NXT.
Headlining All Japan Pro Wrestling’s December 31st event is Katsuhiko Nakajima defending the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship against Kento Miyahara.
AJPW has been promoting that an ‘assassin’ would be coming in to challenge the winner of the match on January 3rd.
A video was posted to AJPW’s social platforms featuring company President Tsuyoki Fukuda. Fukuda stated that the phone call was from WWE and he inquired about a ‘strong superstar’ from NXT coming to All Japan.
Fukuda ended the call by telling the individual on the other end of the phone to tell his boss at WWE that he said thank you.
