Heath stated that he’d be game for a Royal Rumble appearance.

For the past several years, Heath had been working with IMPACT Wrestling. He debuted for the company at Slammiversary 2020 and along the way, he captured the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles with Rhino.

In October, his contract with the company expired and Heath spoke about free agency when he guest appeared on Rewind Recap Relive. He was asked what can people expect from him going forward as a free agent and here’s what he had to say:

(Number) 22 in the (Royal) Rumble and I’m literally just having fun at the moment. Being real, it was one of those things where, you know, after WWE, I was with IMPACT for two years, nearly three years because I was injured for a year. So, it was one of those things where I was with them but now, when you were with IMPACT, they take up a lot of dates that you could have took independent bookings to. But then again, they would give you bookings also to where you could have other bookings too. So it’s like now, I’m booked up till like March, the first weekend in March. So, it’s looking alright, you know, at the moment. But no, I’m literally at the moment to where I’m having fun, I’m enjoying family time, I’m working the weekends so, I’m in the smooth sailing phase at the moment. But then again, I put nearly 16 years going strong, steady every damn day of my damn life to now just relaxing and chilling for a bit… I’m relaxing and chilling for a bit for sure.

Heath expressed that if it was presented to him, he would take the opportunity to be in the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match. He spent a total of 14 years with WWE before being released in 2020.

Of course, if they (WWE) called me and said, hey man, you want to be number 22 in the Royal Rumble? I’ll be like, hell yeah baby, sign me up.

Let me just stay in there until the last five guys and throw me out. Who cares? But yeah, hell yeah man. That’d be fun as hell.

He is back on the independent scene and most recently competed on 12/15 and tagged with Rhino. At the beginning of December, Heath was featured on an NWA Exodus Pro card.
