Rhodes is going to keep his word, per his agent.

While WWE was in Spokane, Washington for a house show on January 6th, a viewer in attendance held up a sign and asked Rhodes to be his ‘best man’ in his wedding. When Rhodes spotted the sign, he agreed to do so.

Rhodes is going to be a part of Anthony White and Jordan Rullman’s wedding. Rullman got her fiancé tickets to the WWE event as a Christmas gift.

Jon Hoefling of USA TODAY published an article about the story and Cody Rhodes’ agent, Brian Wittenstein, confirmed that Rhodes will legitimately be a part of every aspect of the wedding and will partake in anything that is expected of a groomsman.

Anthony White has yet to have direct contact with Rhodes since the house show, but he has spoken to Rhodes’ agent about what foods Cody can and cannot eat. White plans on treating Rhodes like any other guest. He told USA TODAY that they will not make a big deal out of his ‘Kingdom’ theme song since Rhodes hears it so much, but he’ll try to get it into the playlist while people are dancing.

We decided, out of respect for Cody, since he hears it all the time, we will try not to make it a big deal (Kingdom theme song)… I am going to try to sneak it into the music playlist for when everyone is dancing though.

Anthony wants Rhodes to either put him through a table or use a steel chair on him at the wedding. He said if anything of the sort happens, he will not wash his suit and he’ll store it away.

I want him (Cody Rhodes) to 100 percent put me through a table, use a steel chair, I don’t care. If any of that does happen though, my suit will not be washed. I will put it on a mannequin and keep it in my closet.

In the event that Rhodes agreed to be the best man, Anthony’s friend David was onboard with stepping down from his role in the wedding. He congratulated the couple when he found out Rhodes committed.

As of this writing, White and Rullman are planning for their wedding to be on May 23rd, 2025. Rhodes’ agent is hoping to keep that weekend open in case WWE needs Cody for a Saudi Arabia show. He would not be able to attend the show and the wedding on the same day. Wittenstein has been talking to the couple about May 16th, 2025 as a potential date. The couple wants to have their wedding after WrestleMania season so they’re not pulling Cody away from that.
