Monday’s episode of Raw from Atlanta began with the return of Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa’i) to the program to announce his leukemia was in remission and he was back.

Reigns announced last October that he was battling leukemia and was forced to relinquish the Universal title and kept a low profile while off of television. During his time away, he did film a role in the Fast & Furious spinoff movie “Hobbs & Shaw” alongside Dwayne Johnson.

Reigns came out to a big ovation and repeatedly thanked the audience for their messages of support since the news came out last fall.

He is scheduled to appear on Good Morning America on ABC Tuesday morning.

There was nothing said regarding when he would be returning to the ring. The segment ended with Seth Rollins coming out on the ramp and embracing Reigns.
