Jade’s injury is confirmed.
POST Wrestling’s John Pollock corroborated a report from F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer that NXT talent Cora Jade suffered a torn ACL.
The injury to Jade occurred at an NXT house show on January 12th during a singles match against NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria.
Jade was scheduled to be in a Women’s Title #1 Contenders Battle Royal on the 1/16 NXT but before the match began, Vic Joseph confirmed that she suffered a torn ACL and is expected to be out of action for a year.
Jade returned to NXT at the Deadline P.L.E. in December. Prior to that, the 23-year-old had been off television since the summer.
