A lawsuit was filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, alleging multiple counts of sexual harassment, assault and sex trafficking by WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon.

McMahon is also the Executive Chairman at TKO Group Holdings, parent company of WWE and UFC. A spokesperson issued a statement to Variety about the allegations and noted that McMahon does not control TKO nor does he oversee the day-to-day operations of WWE.

It was added that they’re taking Grant’s allegations very seriously. Here’s the full statement:

Mr. McMahon does not control TKO nor does he oversee the day-to-day operations of WWE. While this matter predates our TKO executive team’s tenure at the company, we take Ms. Grant’s horrific allegations very seriously and are addressing this matter internally.

POST Wrestling’s John Pollock received a statement from Janel Grant’s legal representation. That can be found here.
