The future of CHAOS is discussed by Bishamon.

Along the way of NJPW’s The New Beginning tour, Kazuchika Okada will be wrapping up with the company. His contract expires on January 31st but he’ll be finishing the remaining dates he has and that includes a singles match against Hiroshi Tanahashi on February 11th

Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) were interviewed by Tokyo Sports. The duo spoke about Okada’s pending exit. YOSHI-HASHI said he was a bit sad when he first heard the news. He brought up that it was Okada who introduced Goto into CHAOS.

Goto: I want to support his (Kazuchika Okada) challenge. It is the path he chose..

YOSHI-HASHI: We have been together since we were trainees, went overseas at the same time, and have been with CHAOS since we came back… we have known each other the longest. When I heard about it, I felt sad, but when I thought about it, Goto-san came to CHAOS after Okada recruited him. If it wasn’t for that, you wouldn’t be here now, would you?… Like Bishamon, I have many happy memories, and I am grateful to Okada for the many things he left me. If I quit, some people might call me a traitor, but as a professional, I think it’s important that I should go where I want to go.

They then discussed the future of the CHAOS faction. As with Shinsuke Nakamura, they said the bond between CHAOS members never goes away. YOSHI-HASHI learned a lot from Okada and Nakamura.

He feels he would not have continued wrestling if it weren’t for CHAOS. Goto added that he’s not concerned about the future of the group.

YOSHI-HASHI: Like Shinsuke Nakamura, even if he quits, the bond between CHAOS will not disappear, and both of them may come back in some form or another, and I think it’s a positive thing when thinking about the future… As (Kazuchika) Okada said, the wrestling world, you never know what will happen. I have gained a lot from being with Okada and Nakamura-san, and I myself would not have continued in this world without the team CHAOS. That’s why I want to not only protect it, but also evolve it further.

Goto: (YOSHI-HASHI) said everything I wanted to say. I am not worried about anything.

The New Beginning tour resumes on February 1st and that show will be headlined by a 10-man tag between Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi, Yota Tsuji, Shingo Takagi & Tetsuya Naito) versus Just 5 Guys (TAKA Michinoku, DOUKI, Yuya Uemura, Taichi & SANADA).
