WWE NXT notes: Jacy Jayne saves Chase University, Dar retains Heritage Cup, Gallus/Ridge Holland

Andre Chase, Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne took to the ring to formally announce the closing of Chase University. Before they could do so, Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail joined them. The school was in debt because of Andre Chase and it was Jacy Jayne who prevented its closing. She introduced the Ladies of Chase University calendar. It’ll go on-sale February 4th, the day of NXT Vengeance Day.

In the main event, Noam Dar retained his Heritage Cup trophy over Von Wagner. Post-match, Wagner put The Meta-Four’s Oro Mensah through a table and celebrated with Robert Stone and Stone’s two sons.

Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez went one-on-one and Vice came out on top. On 1/26, Lopez debuted on Friday Night SmackDown as a member of Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel & Humberto).

The trio of Gallus (Joe Coffey, Wolfgang & Mark Coffey) cost Ridge Holland his match against Lexis King. Afterwards, Gallus went after Holland’s left leg with a chair.
