Eddie Kingston vs. Bryan Keith

AEW Collision kicked off with Eddie Kingston facing “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith in a Continental Crown Proving Ground Match. Bryan Keith worked over Kingston’s jaw for much of the match with the crowd relatively split between Kingston and the Texas native Keith.

The match continued to build with back-and-forth action and “this is awesome” chants from the crowd. Keith absorbed some of Eddie’s best offense leading to several near falls. Kingston finally scored the victory after pulling out a desperation spinning back fist and falling onto Keith for the pin. After the match, Tony Schiavone got into the ring and informed Bryan Keith that as of tonight, he is #AllElite.

Just as Keith and Kingston shook hands in the ring and hugged, Bryan Danielson’s music hit and he came out to the ring and shook Keith’s hand. Kingston looked annoyed and left as the announcers explained that Danielson’s match with Hechicero was up next.

Bryan Danielson vs. Hechicero

Next up was Bryan Danielson taking on CMLL’s Hechicero. Before the match, footage from Dynamite was shown with Jon Moxley brawling with the CMLL stars and then cutting a backstage promo afterward about them.

Hechicero came down to the ring with a very unique entrance involving fire and him “cleansing” his way to the ring.

Hechicero seemed to frustrate Danielson early on in the match and got a “Hechicero” chant from the crowd as he continued to use his innovative offense.

Hechicero and Danielson went back and forth with pin and submission attempts until Danielson finally caught Hechicero with a roll-up. After the match, Hechicero started attacking Danielson which brought out Claudio Castagnoli to make the save.

DGFTR = Trio?

Lexi Nair interviewed FTR and Daniel Garcia and asked them if they would stay as a trio and they said that they didn’t plan it but they were going to roll with it.

Hook Handicap Match

The announcers said that Hook arrived at the building and demanded to fight someone or even two people. Hook came down to the ring and The Outrunners were there as Hook’s competition for the night. Hook defeated the team in just two and a half minutes.

Mark Briscoe / House of Black

Tony Schiavone interviewed Mark Briscoe in the ring and Briscoe talked about him helping FTR and Daniel Garcia against the House of Black last week. The lights went out and HOB appeared on the screen and Malakai Black said that they were going to eradicate him from the history of professional wrestling. The lights came back on and nothing happened. Black said it was just that easy.

The Cope Open

A highlight video was shown featuring Adam Copeland and all of the opponents he’s overcome so far in his ongoing open challenge. It was promoted that we’ll hear from Copeland next week from Vegas.

Serena Deeb vs. Queen Aminata

Next up was Serena Deeb taking on the recently omnipresent Queen Aminata. Aminata put up a good fight against “The Professor” including almost getting her in a surprise roll-up pin. Deeb then applied the Figure Four around the ring post almost causing her to be disqualified. Deeb couldn’t get Aminata up for the Deebtox but instead made her tap immediately when she applied the Serenity Lock.

Swerve #1

Tony Schiavone was back in the ring and brought out Swerve Strickland along with Prince Nana. The announcers noted that Swerve was ranked #1 and Hangman Page was a very close #2 and whoever wins their match this Wednesday will hold claim over the #1 contender slot. Swerve brought up the fact that it was Black History Month and wanted to recognize those who have paved the way for him like Ron Simmons, Kofi Kingston, and ROH Women’s Champion Athena. Swerve said that he’s done some reprehensible things but doesn’t regret any of it because it’s got him to where he is. Swerve then told Prince Nana that there would be no interference because he didn’t want any excuses from Hangman.

Toni Storm

A video from last Wednesday after Dynamite was shown with Timeless Toni Storm. Mariah May asked Toni if she watched her match and Toni blew her off. She told Luther to book her a public workout so she could show everyone how technical she could be. The announcers then connected the dots that her public workout would be her facing Red Velvet with Deonna Purrazzo on commentary.

Red Velvet vs. Vertvixen

A very intense Red Velvet then took on Vertvixen with the idea that Velvet had heard Toni Storm referring to their match as a “public workout”. She defeated Vertvixen in just over two minutes and then called out Toni, Julia, Athena and the ROH Women’s TV Title tournament saying it was her time for gold.

The Patriarchy vs. DGFTR

The main event of the evening saw Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne squaring off against FTR and Daniel Garcia who the announce team noted were already ranked #4 in the Trios division. This match began with twenty-five minutes left before the top of the hour so you knew that once again this would be going long.

The finish saw a bevy of finishers hit from all the competitors with Nick Wayne setting up for a Christian-style spear but he missed and Daniel Garcia rolled him up for the win. After the match, Daniel Garcia and Christian had a stare down seemingly indicating a potential TNT title match sometime soon. The show ended with Garcia and FTR doing the Garcia dance.
