Brookside is now a member of the TNA roster.
The rebrand from IMPACT to TNA Wrestling started at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view in January. Among the matches on the card was an Ultimate X match.
One of the participants in the bout was Xia Brookside. Although she was not victorious, her signing to TNA was announced after the match. Xia was a guest on the Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz and shared that she first began talking to Gail Kim in July 2023 about coming to TNA. Brookside knew that was where she wanted to be.
Not long, not long at all (did I have to keep it a secret that I was coming to TNA). I actually can’t even remember. I was talking to Gail Kim from July last year when I first moved over here. I just really wanted to go to TNA. I knew that was where I wanted to be. So, that’s what I was really shooting for and I can’t remember when the decision was made for Hard To Kill. It’s all very kind of blurry now. It was so exciting at the time and overwhelming and just, it all still feels like a dream to me.
Brookside will have an opportunity to become TNA Knockouts World Champion when she meets Tasha Steelz and the champion Jordynne Grace in a three-way match at Sacrifice.
