AEW’s TV special Battle of the Belts will return next month.
The promotion has announced Battle of the Belts X for April 13th at the Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky, USA. The show will take place following an episode of AEW’s weekly TV show Collision.
AEW has aired the Battle of the Belts periodically since early 2022. The show, which lasts an hour, follows the premise that every match involves having a title on the line. The most recent episode aired in January, including an AEW World Tag Team Championship match that saw Big Bill and Ricky Starks beat Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara in a street fight.
While Battle of the Belts often features many of the top names in AEW, it rarely includes a title change. The last time a title changed hands on the show was on the second edition of the show in April 2022, when Sammy Guevara captured the TNT Championship against Scorpio Sky.
