Bull was the second inductee announcement.
On April 5th, WWE is going to be presenting the 2024 installment of their Hall of Fame ceremony. Thus far, the class is listed as follows: Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, U.S. Express (Mike Rotunda & Barry Windham) and Muhammad Ali.
Nakano, real name Keiko Aoki, was interviewed by Tokyo Sports. The former WWF Women’s Champion shared with the outlet that she was contacted on January 16th about being inducted into the Hall of Fame and she cried with joy.
On January 16th, I was asked, it has been decided that I will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but, ‘Do you intend to receive the award?’ ‘Of course I do!’ And cried with joy. I was told that it would be a top secret until the announcement, and I tried not to meet anyone (laughs).
Bull added that she is working on her induction speech. Later in the interview, she was asked for her thoughts about WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY. She feels SKY is best suited to be a mainstay in the singles main event scene and would like to see her establish herself as singles champion.
She is best suited to be the mainstay of WWE as a singles competitor. I would like to see her establish herself as a singles champion. Even if she loses, I want her to be able to get it back…
The reports of Giulia’s future was brought up and WWE being a potential landing spot. Nakano feels Giulia should go there. She credited the former STRONG Women’s Champion for being able to change and adapt to various situations and that’s why she feels she’d do well in WWE.
You (Giulia) should definitely go. It will definitely expand your world… I think they’ll use her in a good way.
When she came to STARDOM and greeted me… who would have imagined the Giulia of today? I can see that she is like a chameleon, changing herself in various situations to cope and move on. That’s why I’m sure she can handle it over there as well. It’s scary how much you’ll grow if you go.
Giulia’s reign as STRONG Women’s Champion came to an end when she was bested by Stephanie Vaquer. Giulia stated that an announcement about her future will be made when the time comes.
Nakano arrived to WWF in the middle of 1994 and departed the company in 1995. She then ventured to WCW. She stepped away from full-time in-ring competition in 1997.
