Jack Perry vs. Shota Umino, Nemeth vs. Ishii, STRONG Tag Title match set for NJPW Windy City Riot

Three bouts added to Windy City Riot. 

Coming up on April 12th is New Japan STRONG’s Windy City Riot event from the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. There have been three matches added to the fray

It was at Battle in the Valley that Jack Perry made his return to pro wrestling by attacking Shota Umino. The two talents are going to clash at Windy City Riot. 

In addition to that, after a video message was sent out from IWGP Global Champion Nic Nemeth, it was made official that he’ll be facing Tomohiro Ishii in a non-title match at the event. 

There is going to be a championship match on the card. STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions Hikuleo and El Phantasmo will be defending in a four-corner open challenge. As of this writing, here’s the updated Windy City Riot lineup: 

  • Hiromu Takahashi vs. Mustafa Ali
  • Tetsuya Naito vs. Jon Moxley
  • Eight-Man Riot Rules Match: Eddie Kingston, TBA, TBA & TBA vs. Gabe Kidd, TBA, TBA & TBA
  • Nic Nemeth vs. Tomohiro Ishii
  • Shota Umino vs. Jack Perry
  • NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships — Four-Corner Open Challenge: El Phantasmo & Hikuleo (c) vs. TBA vs. TBA vs. TBA
