At the WWE WrestleMania XL media junket, one of the talents available to interview was Tiffany Stratton. While sitting down with Gorilla Position, Stratton was asked which AEW talent(s) would she like to see in WWE.
Stratton is loving the work that Toni Storm is doing as the ‘Timeless’ iteration of her character. She said she’d like to see that character in WWE.
I love Toni Storm. I think what she’s doing is amazing. I would love to see the Toni Storm character in WWE.
Before being called up to the main roster, Stratton was a part of NXT and during her time there, she had a program with Becky Lynch over the NXT Women’s Championship. Stratton feels the program with Lynch was a game-changer for her career.
Working with Becky Lynch was honestly so amazing. It was so life-changing for my career. I definitely feel like after (NXT) No Mercy, people saw me in a completely different light after that and it was definitely like a career-moving moment for me after No Mercy… I thanked her after. When I even lost the title, I thanked her because that was also just such an amazing moment for me, you know? Just getting in the ring with someone like Becky Lynch is so insanely amazing, especially, you know, being in the business for only what? Two years? So, yeah, I have so much respect for Becky.
Stratton will not competing at WrestleMania XL. She was in action prior to the 4/5 SmackDown in a dark match in which she picked up a singles win over Michin.
Since joining the main roster, Stratton is undefeated in singles matches.
