WWE’s in-house award show, The Slammy Awards, returned for the first time in years this weekend. A free stream of the presentation took place from Wrestlemania 40 weekend on Sunday afternoon.
16 different awards were given away this year through a fan vote process. Awards ranged from general, more typical awards like “Rivalry of the Year” or “Match of the Year” to categories like “Trash Talker of the Year” and “Social Star of the year.”
The top award of the day, “Superstar of the Year,” went to Cody Rhodes on the men’s side and Rhea Ripley on the women’s side.
