Awesome Truth are now in possession of the titles.

The second match of WWE WrestleMania XL night one was the six-pack Ladder match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. The only way for the match to come to a complete end is when both sets of titles were retrieved.

Grabbing a hold of the SmackDown belts were Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. At the conclusion of the bout, R-Truth retrieved the Raw Tag Titles for himself and The Miz

24 hours removed from that moment, Truth sat down with The Ringer Wrestling Show crew and reflected on the victory.

It was surreal y’all (to climb the ladder & win Raw Tag Team Titles). There’s no words that I can even find — I don’t even think that they have made a word for the way I felt in that moment and I’m hearing, everything I’m hearing, this energetic, this electrified crowd that invested in me? In me? I’m hearing that, I’m feeling that… There’s no words to express how grateful I was for that.

He went on to speak highly of his tag partner, The Miz. He called Miz underrated, a ring general and said Miz has always had his back.

Aye, I will say this, The Miz is like a… he’s underrated, big time… He’s so underestimated. When we talk about being a ring general, Miz is a ring general. Almost like, Miz made me go back to being in my school days. I was that guy that I would cheat off your paper, if I knew you were smart. Miz is that guy, I would cheat off his paper, you know what I’m saying? He’s that guy you can go to for stuff. The smarts he got about a match, telling a story, ring (awareness), when proper things should be done, how you’re gonna feel, how he is as a husband, a father, a friend and he’s always, always had my back and supported me.

The Tag Titles are no longer going to be defended on both brands as there are now two sets of champions. The titles had been unified since May of 2022
