Khan shared the information in a new interview.

The WrestleMania XL night two main event between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship featured a number of run-ins.

The likes of Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, John Cena, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and The Undertaker got involved. Before The Rock could whip Rhodes with a weight belt, The Shield’s theme music played over the stadium and it was Seth Rollins entering the ring with the signature Shield gear. He was immediately taken out by Reigns.

Comicbook.com conducted an interview with AEW President Tony Khan and asked if WWE reached out about Jon Moxley making a one-off appearance at the event.

Speaking to ComicBook.com, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that WWE did not reach out to AEW about using Jon Moxley for a one-off appearance during the Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns main event.

Moxley departed WWE in 2019 and debuted for AEW at Double or Nothing that year. He’s been with the company since then and is a multi-time AEW World Champion.

His last match in WWE was as a member of The Shield. Moxley, Rollins and Reigns won a six-man tag.
