NXT Spring Breakin’ is going to be a two-night event that’ll kick off on April 23rd. On that show, Trick Williams will be challenging Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship. If Williams loses, he must leave NXT. In the main event of the 4/16 show, Williams bested Carmelo Hayes in a Steel Cage match.

There was a segment with No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Damon Kemp & Myles Borne) and The Family (Tony D’Angelo, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, Adriana Rizzo & Luca Crusifino). During the exchange, D’Angelo alluded to taking care of something for No Quarter Catch Crew. For the second week in a row, Drew Gulak was not with the group following Ronda Rousey accusing him of touching the string of her sweatpants in March 2022. The Family and N.Q.C.C. are meeting in a six-man tag on night one Spring Breakin’.

NXT Underground is returning on night two of Spring Breakin’ and it’ll be Natalya and former Bellator MMA fighter Lola Vice competing in the bout. They’ll have a contract signing on 4/23. Karmen Petrovic is going to be in Natalya’s corner and Vice teased that she’ll have someone in her corner as well.

After suffering two cracked ribs at Stand & Deliver, Josh Briggs is cleared. His first match back was a loss to Ivar.

Here are additional match announcements for Spring Breakin’ night one:

  • NXT Women’s Championship — Triple Threat Match: Roxanne Perez (c) vs. Tatum Paxley vs. Lyra Valkyria
  • No DQ Match: Sol Ruca vs. Blair Davenport

In a vignette about Tatum Paxley, POST Wrestling’s article from NXT Vengeance Day was included. Paxley was in singles action against Thea Hail and she received an assist from Jacy Jayne who cost Hail the match.

NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov hosted an open challenge and the entire locker room cleared out. While they were tussling with one another to get in the ring, Je’Von Evans ran down from the stands and springboarded off the ropes and over Dragunov to accept the challenge. Dragunov came out on top, but they shook hands afterwards.

A.O.P. (Akam & Rezar) picked up a win over Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. The NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom made their way out to the ring afterwards.
