AEW saw a significant boost in viewership for this past Saturday’s three-hour block on TNT featuring Collision and Rampage.
The taped editions of Collision & Rampage aired from 8-11 p.m. ET on TNT with Collision averaging 523,000 viewers and 200,000 viewers (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic. Rampage followed at 10 p.m. with 391,000 viewers and 170,000 viewers (0.13) in the core demo. (Spoiler TV, Programming Insider & Wrestlenomics)
Both programs aired in the same block the previous week with live editions of the shows in Vancouver, however, last week’s shows were broadcast on TBS.
This week’s Collision saw a 38 percent increase in viewership and a 23 percent gain among the 18-49 audience.
This represents Collision’s second-largest audience since September 23, 2023 (the April 27 episode had a giant lead-in from the NBA playoffs and led to Collision averaging 621,000 viewers).
Rampage saw a 21 percent increase in viewership and a 17 percent increase in the 18-49 audience.
Collision ranked fifth among cable originals on Saturday while Rampage was tenth.
Both programs saw large growth with males 18-49 with Collision increasing from 110,000 viewers last week to 150,000 and Rampage going from 91,000 to 122,000.
With adults 18-34, Collision grew by 18 percent this week while Rampage increased by 50 percent from last week with an average of 42,000 viewers in the demo this week.
Collision was headlined by Bryan Danielson teaming with FTR against Lance Archer & The Righteous with Rampage closing the night with a match between Brian Cage and Anthony Bowens.
Wrestlenomics reports that the peak quarter for the entire three-hour block was from 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. ET with 596,000 viewers for the end of Will Ospreay vs. Shane Taylor, promos involving Danielson & FTR, Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli, Chris Jericho & Big Bill, and HOOK with Johnny TV. The peak in 18-49 was the opening quarter with Ospreay vs. Taylor at 231,000 viewers.
Rampage will air this Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET followed by a live Collision on Saturday night from Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
