North American Title match at Battleground is set.
There was a Triple Threat match on the 5/21 NXT on USA Network to determine the next challenger to Oba Femi’s North American Championship.
Competing in the three-way were Wes Lee, Joe Coffey and Josh Briggs. The conclusion of the bout saw both Wes and Coffey land on top of Briggs and the referee made the three count.
Oba Femi would go to NXT General Manager Ava to get clarity on his title defense at Battleground and she confirmed that it’ll be a Triple Threat with Wes and Coffey.
