Bryan Keith helps Chris Jericho retain FTW Championship at AEW Double or Nothing

Additional assistance to The Learning Tree.

Chris Jericho’s FTW Championship was on the line at AEW Double or Nothing. He defended it in a three-way match involving Katsuyori Shibata and HOOK.

A member of Jericho’s Learning Tree, Big Bill, attempted to get involved but HOOK took him out when he suplexed Bill through a table.

Towards the end of the bout, both HOOK and Shibata had Jericho locked in submissions but there was a masked individual who made his way into the ring and took aim at HOOK and Shibata. That individual revealed himself to be Bryan Keith.

Jericho laid HOOK out with the Judas Effect and went over to pin Shibata for the win.

On the 5/22 Dynamite, Keith, HOOK and Shibata competed in a three-way FTW Title Eliminator match. Shibata and HOOK made Keith submit as they both had submissions on him and that’s how the FTW Title match at Double or Nothing became a three-way. Keith confronted Jericho later that week on AEW programming.
