Double champions crowned at Dominion.
Both the STRONG Openweight and IWGP Tag Team Championships were on the line at NJPW Dominion in a four-way Tornado Elimination match.
Going into the bout, KENTA and Chase Owens were in possession of the IWGP belts while El Phantasmo and Hikuleo held the STRONG Titles. The other two teams in the match were Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) and T.M.D.K. (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls).
Nicholls and Haste eliminated Hikuleo and Phantasmo and then the IWGP Tag Team Champions were eliminated by Bishamon.
It came down to T.M.D.K. and Bishamon and it was Haste and Nicholls emerging victorious to become double champions.
At a press conference, NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi and Bushiroad CEO Takaaki Kidani expressed that they want the STRONG belts to be USA-exclusive. To read more, click here.
