Randy Orton & Kevin Owens help Cody Rhodes fight off The Bloodline after I Quit match at WWE Clash at the Castle

Owens and Orton saved Rhodes.

Kicking off WWE’s Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event was Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against A.J. Styles in an I Quit match. During the introductions, Rhodes’ name graphic had the default ‘talent name’ title with ‘WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions’ above it.

As the match went on, Styles got into a verbal altercation with Rhodes’ mother at ringside and there was a point in the match when she slapped him several times. Cody was busted open as well.

Styles introduced handcuffs and the conclusion of the bout saw Rhodes handcuff Styles to the ropes and then beat him with a chair. Cody brought the ring steps into the ring and A.J. quit before he was hit. Rhodes still hit him with the steps.

As Cody was leaving the entrance area, Solo Sikoa appeared and faced off with Cody but Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa ambushed him from behind. The duo of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton made the save.
