The WWE Intercontinental Championship remains in Sami Zayn’s possession as he bested Chad Gable to retain. During the bout, Gable accidentally chop blocked Maxxine Dupri at ringside. Otis carried her away and Gable was upset at Otis for not taking the chance to soften up Zayn while the referee’s attention was off the action. Zayn hit his ‘Helluva Kick’ to retain the belt.

Bayley scored a win over Scotland’s own Piper Niven to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.

Michael Cole stated on commentary that the attendance at the OVO Hydro was 11,391.

Seated front row was Scottish strongman Tom Stoltman. Stoltman is a three-time winner of the World’s Strongest Man competition.

On the Kickoff show, William Regal looked over a darts match between Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) versus pro darts players Peter Wright from Livingston, Scotland and Luke Littler from Runcorn, England.
