Asuka has shared that she recently underwent surgery on her left knee.
The WWE talent shared a video on her YouTube channel of traveling to the hospital and providing an update post-surgery.
Asuka stated that excluding the prep time, the procedure lasted ninety minutes, and was set to go home the day after surgery.
The doctor informed Asuka that the surgery was a success, but she didn’t elaborate on the specific injury she sustained or any timetable for a return.
Asuka tweeted a photo on June 5, indicating the surgery was around that date.

Asuka last wrestled on May 4 at the WWE Backlash France event where the Kabuki Warriors dropped the Women’s tag titles to Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill.
