U.K. performer James Castle has died following a four-year battle with acute myeloid leukemia.
Castle – real name Jamie Stacie – passed away on Saturday at the age of 35 with the news shared by his wife and fellow wrestler Zoe Lucas.
On Saturday 15th June after 4 years of treatment, 12 rounds of chemotherapy, 2 bone marrow transplants, radio therapy and countless experimental trials we lost Jamie Stacey @JamesCastle49 to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

Castle debuted for RevPro in the U.K. in 2013 and teamed with Sha Samuels as The Revolutionists.
The pair won the promotion’s tag titles in June 2015 and held the belts for one year before losing them to Charlie Garrett & Joel Redman.
Castle & Samuels last teamed together in RevPro in March 2017, losing to Trent Seven & Tyler Bate, which led to a No Disqualification where Castle beat Samuels the following month.
Castle wrestled for various groups in the U.K. including IPW, X Wrestling Alliance, and The Wrestling League was most closely attached to RevPro.
In 2018, he formed a team with Dan Head and challenged Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH) for the RevPro Undisputed British tag titles at York Hall in September of that year. The pair also had matched against A-Kid (Axiom in NXT) & Carlos Romo, and Aussie Open.
Castle’s career ended after 2019 and was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) the next year while the pandemic had shut down a significant portion of the companies on the local scene.
Over the past several months, Castle had noted on X that he wished he could have had one more run in the industry.
This past January, he shared that the leukemia had returned, and doctors could not treat the disease but only manage it. They gave a grim prognosis that he had “months rather than years” left to live.
