Shota Umino dealing with hip fracture & strained disc, notes that he’ll be back for NJPW G1 Climax

An update from Shota Umino. 

Shota Umino was pulled from the June 16th New Japan Soul event due to a back injury. An update from Umino was provided on X regarding the status of his injury. 

He’s dealing with a hip fracture and strained disc. 

Umino added that he’ll definitely be good to go for the 2024 G1 Climax. The tournament begins on July 20th and Umino is the A block with Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi, SANADA, Great-O-Khan, Zack Sabre Jr., Gabe Kidd, EVIL, Jake Lee and a talent to be determined.
