Friday Night SmackDown saw a dip in its viewership but topped everything except the Olympic Trials on Friday.

The June 28 show from Madison Square Garden attracted an audience of 2,256,000 and a 0.66 in the 18-49 demographic, per Programming Insider & Wrestlenomics.

The audience was down by three percent from last week’s two-month high featuring CM Punk’s appearance in Chicago.

The 18-49 audience fell by 10 percent this week due to males declining from 647,000 to 542,000 viewers for Friday’s episode. Females in the core demo saw growth from 313,000 to 320,000 this week.

SmackDown was affected among adults 18-34, which fell 31 percent this week to an average of 262,000 viewers.

SmackDown topped all programming for the night except the Olympic Trials on NBC, which averaged a 0.80 in the demo over three hours. Other head-to-head programming included the Copa America tournament (0.31) on FS1 and the NHL Draft (0.17) on ESPN.

Canadian viewership figures are delayed due to the Canada Day holiday on Monday.

AEW Rampage averaged 303,000 viewers and 119,000 (0.09) in the 18-49 demographic on TNT, per Wrestlenomics.

The audience dropped by eight percent while the demo fell 24 percent from last week.

The episode was headlined by Queen Aminata defeating Skye Blue and included El Phantasmo qualifying for the TNT title ladder match by beating AR Fox. The show was taped the previous week in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
