The match headlined the final day of the New Japan Soul tour at Budokan Hall, Tokyo.

The win marks DOUKI’s first run with the title, which El Desperado won from SHO in a steel cage match on the first day of New Japan Soul on June 16th at the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center in Sapporo.
