As the 7/8 Monday Night Raw was underway, Pete Dunne had a singles match against Bronson Reed. During Dunne’s entrance, Michael Cole mentioned that Dunne’s partner Tyler Bate is going to be sidelined after an injury he suffered on WWE NXT.

Bate provided an update and noted that he tore his left pectoral major and tendon off the bone. He underwent a successful surgery. Here’s the caption to his post on Instagram

Tore my left pectoral major & tendon off the bone last week at NXT.
Surgery yesterday was successful and all has been put back where it belongs.
I’ll be gone for some time while I recover, try not to miss me too much.
I’m in good spirits and looking forward to seeing you all again soon, lots of love,
