Jim Ross states that he has had successful wrist surgery

Jim Ross gave a brief health update on Saturday, noting that he has had successful wrist surgery.

He posted to X: “Wrist surgery successfully done. Healing continues.”

The 72-year-old has dealt with various health issues of late, including battling a virus that required a three-day stay in hospital.

He still managed to join the commentary team for the conclusion of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30^th.

The veteran commentator also had cancer surgery on his hip in February.
