A new title match is official for the PLE.
Kicking off the July 15th edition of Monday Night Raw was Rhea Ripley. She made her return to television on the 7/8 program after being sidelined since April with a shoulder injury.
With that injury, Ripley had to relinquish her Women’s World Championship and she is coming after the title. Dominik Mysterio joined her in the ring and there was a back-and-forth exchange with the current champion Liv Morgan via video.
Ripley threw out the challenge for a title match at SummerSlam and Morgan said she is not running from it. With that match being made official, here’s the updated lineup for the August 3rd Premium Live Event:
- WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Damian Priest (c) vs. GUNTHER
- WWE Women’s Championship: Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax
- WWE Women’s World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
