Shota Umino confirms he’ll be returning to in-ring action for NJPW G1 Climax 34

Umino has been sidelined since June. 

Since June, Shota Umino has been sidelined from in-ring competition due to back and hip injuries. He was last in action on AEW Rampage in a match against Rocky Romero. 

New Japan Pro-Wrestling rolled out a video of Umino and he stated that he’ll be returning to the ring for the G1 Climax tournament. He added that he put his all into rehab and treatment ahead of the tourney.

Umino is going to be in the A block and his first match is scheduled for July 20th against Callum Newman.
