This past weekend, WWE SmackDown Live performer Jey Uso (Joshua Samuel Fatu) was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Hidalgo County in Texas.

The WWE has officially announced that Paige will not be participating in the Royal Rumble match later this month, Chris Jericho is among the additional names added to the 25th Anniversary of Raw and Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler to call show from Manhattan Center.

The headliner for the WWE’s annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony over WrestleMania weekend will be Bill Goldberg. The ceremony will take place on Friday, April 6th in New Orleans, Louisiana. There were several news items coming out of Saturday’s set of Impact Wrestling tapings with the announcement of their next major show, the main event for that show and a notable departure from the company.

PWG held its (mostly) annual Mystery Vortex show Friday night. But it was no keeping the secret from anyone in attendance at American Legion Post #308 that it would be the final independent pro-wrestling show at this juncture for Reseda favorite Ricochet, who is headed to WWE later this month.

A report from PWinsider’s Mike Johnson states that the WWE will not be clearing Paige (Saraya-Jade Bevis) to resume her in-ring career following an injury last month during a six-woman tag.

Monday’s episode of Raw faced steep competition from the College Football Championship game and resulted in a 3.8% drop in audience on the USA Network.

The WWE has announced that Samoa Joe suffered an injury during his match with Rhyno on Monday’s episode of Raw and is out of the “Mixed Match Challenge”.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the lineups for their three New Beginning cards. The shows will consist of back-to-back nights in Sapporo later this month and culminate with the third show at the Edion Arena in Osaka on February 10th.

On Monday’s episode of Raw, the WWE announced a number of huge names that are scheduled to appear for the 25th Anniversary of Raw on Monday, January 22nd in Brooklyn, New York.
